This 3-hour a synchronous training helps Play Therapists review the emotional needs of \u201cglass children\u201d with <\/span>play-based interventions<\/b> to support this population. Participants will learn how to conceptualize the unique psychological experiences of these children and their families. By the end of this training, participants will be able to:<\/b><\/h4>\n

    Define the concept of glass children and describe their unique psychosocial and developmental needs in play therapy. (Remembering \/ Understanding)<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n
  2. \n

    Explain the impact of family systems dynamics (e.g., parentification, invisibility, role assignment) on emotional development to be addressed in play therapy. (Understanding)<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n
  3. \n

    Analyze clinical presentations of glass children at the intake phase of play therapy. Design developmentally appropriate play-based interventions tailored to the needs of glass children. (Creating)<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n
